Watch this to see the future.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNGU...=ColinandSamir

Watch it to the end for a real nugget of information. It proves people do pay for content, BBO, Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, OnlyFans and a lot lot more are selling content, not advertising.

The difference in what we have done is clear. We generate a lot of low end content, telling ourselves that everyone wants the amateurish content we generate. We then give it away in huge amounts by paying around 50% of the price to do so.

We kid ourselves that a girl on a different sofa or in a different outfit is exclusive. Just because affiliates want it that way to get listed on sites giving away what we sell.

We rarely give anything else of quality like active members only forums, behind the scenes, live shows, visits to the shoots, etc.

At trade shows we don't include the customers.

It's expensive to create great exclusive content.

Above all is the content production team, they have to be paid enough, their skills, talent, resources, experience, equipment, etc have to be valued.

Locations cost money. Along with M/U, clothing, props, models.

Then comes the scenario. Once you plonk a girl in front of a camera and tell her to do porn, you lose exclusivity and become just another one of the millions of scenes of the same ilk. You have to generate a story line if only to make yourself exclusive. Don't do the "pizza guy gets laid" scenario over and over again. Or fake taxi. Because it's repeated 1,000s of times and isn't believable after 20 scenes doing the same thing.

Don't expect "American" customers to fall in love with girls who can't speak a word of English. Shoot the content in the country you want sell to with citizens of that country.

Respect the models, they aren't lazy, stupid, dumb and don't shoot it in the third world or cheaper than the first because you can't afford to pay. They are great for images, suck at video.

Traffic is easy to get. One person working a normal days work can generate 10,000s of views. The problem for us was we couldn't sell the poor quality content and 10,000 views might only give 10 sales. $300 a day take out 50% to generate 10K views, processing, hosting, office, content production and it's soon clear that's not enough. Especially when you've given away a lot of your members area.

Today conversion rates on Tubes are 1-35,000 views. This was quoted by JT of Fake Taxi. Of course he gets a low conversion rate. His scenes are everywhere for free and he's actively making sure of that.

Traffic is easy to get and easy to convert, if you have something the viewer wants. And that for us is the problem. We created something affiliates wanted and now we find them on sites like Pornnerd, Roald's site, etc. Sold for pennies on the dollar, content, traffic, design, CMS, etc and thown together with 10s of other sites and offered at one price.

And again if need be.

Paying out 50% to clowns for generating traffic to sell crap porn was the stupidest of moves.

Expecting good content providers to know how to build a site, maintain it, drive traffic and create good porn. Showed how wrong we got it. But that's the level we aimed at.

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=onlyfans

Did Clips4sale, ModelCentro, MyTribe, ManyVids, JustFor.Fans or the host of other sites offering models a platform to sell their content getting the same number of promo videos telling girls how to make money. So are these videos paid for by OF?

Great PR if true and shows how easy it is to drive traffic.

No problem svet0slav_SR getting more info than I thought on how to create porn people will pay for.

The biggest argument to counter this is niche content. If it is something the person can’t find then small changes will work.

Obviously interactive pay sites have always done better. The number of mediocre girls who made bank with a solo site by interacting with the customers is huge.

So what does it take to create great porn?

Money. Shooting great porn is something few can do, that's what makes it great. If anyone can do it, it's no longer is great. The people who can do it want to earn a good living. Experience built up over years of working. Skills with performers, it's no good if the models think the cameraman is a fool, perv, only interested in getting laid, earning minimum wage or worst of all clueless.

Agreed a single girl can, if she has the right personality, looks, comes from the country her audience lives in, etc make great porn. But if a 100 girls can replicate what she does, the greatness (Income) diminishes. They can only tap into the market available. The people who want to see solo girl camera on a tripod porn. She has to share them with the 100 or moregirls doing the same.

She needs a camaraman, director, editor that has skills above what the average BF can provide. If only to make sure the camera is capturing every move she makes. She needs to get creative with her content, both promo and members content. It doesn't take long to film scenes in every room of the average home.

Then it's down to how much to create before you overwork, get stale, go on auto pilot and lose the edge needed to make great porn?

The niches that are in rare supply online are the ones with a low demand.

Your second comment makes no sense. If the girl is making bank, she can't be mediocre. She has something the others don't have.

But don't think the number of customers defines success. It has to be divided by the number of suppliers. A million customers shared by 1,000 suppliers gives each one 1,000 customers. Add the free supply to that and see where we got it wrong. You make more money in niches with low supply.

There is a thread asking about the level of commission.

We all know the number of affiliates doesn't increase the number of customer. It only means more people are sharing the surfers. It also means the higher pay out has to come from somewhere. A high commission level has led to too many affiliates giving away too much free porn which kills sales.
