I've had enough with paxum

I've been using their services since they replaced epassporte - over 10 years ago, all went just fine, lately i tried to receive funds from chaturbate with them as chaturbate dont use paypal so guess what? paxum now wants new proof of the same address i have on my account since i opened it, they also want it notarized and threatened me to close my account if i submit fake document

they dont worth the hassle anymore, do yourself a favor and move to another payment processor.

maybe that's what allows them to stay in business? it can be annoying but I don't think they are requiring that just because they want to annoy you, they have to follow various regulations etc. Epasspote didn't request any docs and where are they now? and of course, if you are not ok with that, just switch to something else but there are not many options for adult.

Epass went down because the owner decided to cover the loss of his movie production "middle men" with the money of his epass clients, when the bank figured that out they closed the sink and the rest is history. this has nothing to do with harassing your own customers with bullshit requests, especially to ask the same proof of the same address on file which was given them back then.

I had same issue with revolut, they want to repeat verification process despite absolutely nothing changed , but had to do it as i have benefits from it, compared to paxum which have zero benefits.

laws and regulations are much more strict than they were when Epass went down. many ewallets had problems or were shut down because they didn't have all necessary docs on file.

well i am a lawyer myself, and there is one thing to be strict with regulation, and another thing to harass your own clients.
look what kind of reply i got from their "Sonya" after uploading image of my lawyer card with my address on it

- "The lawyer card cannot be accepted as it is not a document issued by a Public Authority."

you see, the official state certificate for lawyers is not a document issued by public authority.

If you still think it's following the regulation then good luck with them.

I can't even get an account. For the past 12 years my legally registered address with the State of NY is a PO Box. Paxum won't let me enter a PO Box as an address. Since I can't enter the address, I can't verify it. I understand for the "place of business" address. But if the registered address is a PO Box, then it's a PO Box. Deal with it.

Their KYC checks have gone FAR too far when they basically force you to change a legally registered address. They're not the State of NY. They don't get to say what's legal and what's not.

when going to paxum.com directly I'm redirected to us.paxum.com ( and I'm not in the US ) and when I try to log there I end up being on the old system asking me for ids!? How is it possible they don't even test their things from time to time?

Lloyd it depends on the country the OP is from. Issuer can be a BAR Association or the Ministry of Justice.

The second question is about compliance and jurisdiction over the Paxums definition of what is a legally acceptable form of ID.

OP jurisdiction can be in France, while PAXUM is UK, RO, CA, etc.

Our compliance team will have given you a list of possible options for which identity documents we accept. (I'm sorry but Lawyer card is not on that list, even if you believe it should be.)

1 - asking to prove the same address that stayed on file and was proven to you before is far from be considered as normal.
2 - an official certificate from the department of justice in my state is - "not a public authority" as claimed by your rep - isn't normal.
3 - threatening your clients in account life time ban if they "upload fake document" is not a normal manner.

I'm sorry Ruth, trying to comply with the regulations can't serve as an excuse for all of that.

Sadly, is not their choice. All financial institutions have compliance officers today and rules they follow are made by central banks, not by the company management. Also, they are required to ask for update and re-verify all information every 2 years now
