Where do I start - Getting Website Developed

Been out of the business for a few years, a friend of mine is redoing her website which is a site where models can sell phone sex, products, videos, cam chat that sort of stuff.
Web site takes a cut of the profit, do the transactions and pay the models.

Website were coded in 2005 by her ex partner and is badly out dated so she is looking for a completely new website with admin where she can see each models earnings, set percentage they earn and so on.
Models should be able to upload content, set pricing, see their earnings.
Customers should be able to download their purchases.

Are there any software able to handle this that she could buy?

She contacted a mainstream companies and those that would work with her quoted her an obscene amount to make a site for her so I figured I would ask here for suggestions

that's a lot of different product types. you need a modular platform that can handle a wide variety of purposes and customizations.

PornCMS would be a starting point, although there would be a lot of custom modules. we do have custom modules for physical/digital products, tipping, and custom video selling - integrated with billers and team ready. most of my weekly work is building custom modules.

i'm not sure there's a way to bill phone sex anymore - other than skyprivate. they banned phone billing awhile ago

there's a few options on cams, hopefully someone like Mark Prince will chime in there.

i would stay away from any platform that won't do the custom work in-house. you don't need the hassle of outsourcing. k0nr4d has been around forever and is a good option too.

The billing is in place so thats not an issue.

I think I made it sound more complicated than it actually is :D its a pretty simple site actually it would probably work with different modules put together.
The reason I came here is that I know if she order something from the likes of you, Konrad or Suzanna she will get quality. I would have no idea of finding someone anywhere else :D

Every programmer reading this just groaned.

It may be wise to start small and get things in motion, get some money coming in, and then slowly add new features as time and money allows. I've seen a lot of people with great ideas get nowhere because at the beginning it's just too big of a pill to swallow, but breaking down that pill becomes much more palatable and progress is made.

Best of luck on your search for a solution. Sounds like a fun project.
