Spotted a new live cam site gem

Morning!

I spotted CherryTV and seen their affiliate program. Looks all good, I think we have a new player in town. https://cherrycash.com is behind them. They are fairly new, but for sure they are going to be part of this industry.

Let me know what your opinion is!

My opinion is that you don't have to be this clever on this site.
Just make a thread and say buy my shit.

I guess they need more online girls and API services to allow other sites to integrate with.

Hello Sean,

Yes, it is developed in-house. They have opened the website last weekend officially. I agree with you, their product is fast, easy, and smooth loading. Fresh colors.

Promote Chaturbate instead, you'll make more money. The people that I refer end up with a lot of money when using revshare (If you add up all of the free signups, it's about $100pps for them). My referrals pay my bills and weed every month, too.
Link in sig.

no disrespect, but why would an affiliate promote this site? i'm sure they have their reasons for launching vs. promoting an existing platform. but what are the unique selling points that would make one bother instead of pushing so many solid, proven, optimized, way larger sites out there?

First, working with a new site gives you an opportunity to send more valid users (due to possible duplicates on other platforms), refer Models or webmaster.

Cherry.tv is not like any of the other Webcams out there, we have actual Gamification build into the platform, which no other cam site offers. With our unique Leveling system we keep things busy and interesting for users and Models, and the higher the level for Model or user, the more they benefit. We also incorporated ta leaderboard feature which will rank daily, weekly, and seasonal performances of all on the network — viewers and models. This will help models become more visible to prospective viewers and fans. For viewers, this model will encourage them to spend more if they want to get higher rankings. This means for our Partners, better conversions, higher and more frequent purchases.

Our Reporting is also very into detail, which allows our Partners to optimize their traffic better.

Feel free to contact me if you would like to find out more

First, nice to see you, Jojo, and welcome to the Zoo.
The leaderboard idea is a dynamic idea.

Your platform looks amazing, you deserve a spotlight!

Just curious, Google Translate says your nic is "The boy selling cucumbers downstairs in the girls dormitory", is that the right translation?

So what exactly is the revshare breakdown? One of the most frustrating things as a prospective affiliate evaluating a new program is when you can't seem to find the payout structure anywhere and its usually a red flag. All I see is "Up to 25% revshare". I read the entire FAQ, nothing about the revshare breakdown. I don't want to have to scroll through the terms of service to figure out how much I'm going to get paid. Is it 10% on the first $1000 and then 25%?

In the FAQ under "How much will I get paid" this is what it says, "The amount depends on the traffic origin and device. Please message our team at [email protected] to discuss rates."

That's a horrible answer and not going to convince many affiliates to sign up. I want to be paid the same rate from wherever my sale comes from and I want to know what it is up front. The affiliate site looks nice, but could be written much better to convince affiliates to give it a try. As someone pointed out, its a competitive landscape and you've got to really make a compelling case to affiliates to divert their current traffic from well established cam sites to your new site.

Also, the $300 sign on bonus is nice, but with only a handful of sub par models live, I'd have to throw a ton of traffic to get those 10 sales needed to make the $300 bonus. That same traffic would probably make me five times that sending to a cam site with a few thousand models.

As far as Cherry.tv, the video loads nice and I like some of the built in model options listed. However, the bottom box covers over a third of the video feed and I spent a few min trying to figure out how to minimize it and was unsuccessful. Not sure if this is intentional, but certainly frustrating for surfers.

So what I'd like to know, what exactly is the revshare payout and will you offer a white label to affiliates?

I'm a bit surprised by your enthusiasm for this site. I know you're a cam industry veteran and have seen dozens of cam sites just like this come and go over the years. They usually pop up and look nice with about 10 live models, but are dead within 6 months. Sounds like they are truly in beta, so maybe I'm being a bit harsh on them.

The dilemma is always the same, merging increasing traffic and model count together in harmony so you can keep the models happy with traffic and the affiliates happy with a large model selection. Usually there isn't enough money to burn through in the beginning phases and one or both of the components isn't happy and the site dies.

Who knows though, I was a big critic of CB when it first launched, hated the name, the layout and low revshare %, but they obviously proved me wrong.

If you're consulting on the project, be transparent, it would probably make me want to promote it more if I knew you were part of the project.

i noticed this, i was going to sign up as a model a week or 2 ago, but with only 10 girls online then and still 10 girls, it´s the models and traffic this site is going to need

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that it could be much clearer and for that reason we are actually redesigning the Affiliate site as we speak to make things much clearer to all our Partners.

All Partners are receiving 15% revenue share by default and we discuss individually with our Partners any other revenue share payouts. The payout is the same across all countries and Devices.

"How much will I get paid per sign up" is referred to a CPL Deal in this case.

Having been in cams for 22 years and done 8 figures in revshare, I can assure you that if you don't launch with at least a 20% payout, you will go absolutely nowhere. Stop with all of the "we will discuss payouts on an individual basis" nonsense. I know how the affiliate game works so I get there can be custom payouts for large traffic suppliers, however you don't need to say that on your site. No prospective affiliate likes to read that someone else may be getting paid at a higher rate than themselves.

I now understand why you wrote "up to 25%", because if you came out and said "15%" you'd get zero affiliate signups. 20% is the absolute baseline percentage you can be at to attract new affiliates in the cam business and even then you're right near the bottom. You're going to have to completely rethink your margins and adjust that payout % upwards if you want your site to succeed. Myfreecams tried to mass launch their affiliate program via Crakrevenue with a 15% payout and it flopped. They pulled it off and then restructured to a 20% payout. Why would any current affiliate pushing Streamate, AWE or Chaturbate ever change their links out for 15% on a startup with very limited models?

Another piece of advice, get rid of the $300 new affiliate bonus. Instead, tell any new affiliates you'll pay them 25 or even 30% for the first 6 months and then the % will drop down to 20% for life. This way you'll get some immediate traffic coming in from well-established links that will most likely stay in place once the % drops to normal. Sure you're margins will be thin for that intro period, but you have to think long term. If you stick with the $300 bonus, you'll get lots of affiliates who will just get the 10 sales needed to get the bonus and then pull their links for good and you'll never see them again.

95% of new cam startups fail in the first year, because they don't know how to navigate the initial period and can't attract affiliate traffic. They also launch with unrealistic expectations and are underfunded from the beginning.

CherryTV looks really good from a quick glance and I haven't heard anything bad about them. Smart marketing and SEO along with design and great models. Sure we're going to hear a lot from them in the future.

I am very open to telling you about my relationship with them. They were one of my most successful traffic peeps on a Mobile Project 5 years ago. Since then I have always kept my relationship with them, I always have my contacts close to my heart. Cherry has grown under my skin, they have my blessing and I intend to become a Super Affiliate there. I feel that I can trust them with my time and money.

The reason I started this thread is simple, I wanted them to see the feedback from Scratch, from the people that count! You, Speigelau, are one of those people. Your input has been very helpful and you will see in the near future that your input is constructively received.

In case you want a deeper conversation about this, contact me on Skype, I am always happy to have a leveled discussion with a like-minded live cam affiliate.

That's fine and what I was thinking, just took issue with your initial post of "I spotted Cherrytv ....." which implied that you had just randomly come across the site and after looking at the site and program I was a bit perplexed by your enthusiasm. I wish them the best and I'll be checking back to see what changes happen with the site and affiliate program and am certainly willing to lend any advice when called upon.

I was not aware of this, and when reading it a few more times, I totally see your point and I fully agree with your words. If we have a way to connect, maybe by skype, I would certainly be happy to have an exchange with you. Hope you all have a great Monday!

I don't want join any affiliate who first want to talk with me before I can promote their link.

There is a good reason why set&go programs are the most succesfull ones - even small marketers can start with it and testing around. And some of them will become big in future.

CB has the most shitty affiliate support and don't give a fuck that the affiliates hate the model stealing situation.
But still now most people run to them, just cause the easy start and the huge modelpool.

And these affiliate bonus things are stupid - giving a fix % for all and invest more into new models is the better way for both sides.
