Gas Mileage

Since gas has gotten higher than a cow's ass, My gas mileage has gone up 2 miles per gallon. I'm currently driving a 2016 Toyota Van.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

I don't really know how that's possible to put solely on gasoline unless you're driving 35MPH 100% of the time, all the time, and using the same gas from the same pump / station all the time.

My Denali HD 2500 is pretty normal, but 2MPG is the difference between me speeding or not on any given day. But the type of diesel used isn't going to affect it that much, nor would I ever care to count pennies like that. If I have to worry about that, I have bigger problems to worry about. ;)

My 911 and my Cayenne swing 50% in mpg based on city or highway driving. I don't really pay attention to mileage or gas prices. Who notices a 2mpg change?

So you're not a naturally curuios person, a bit pretentious though so you have that going for you.

I drive the same all the time. It's probably air temp. Cool air better combustion. The tank holds more fuel too..380 miles per tank to 412 per tank.

Being or not being naturally curious has nothing to do with caring about pennies.

Well in a modern TOYOTA, right on the dash is a odometer with a 'milage' function. Get rid of that german crap and get a new Japanese car.

Buy a vowel dude that ain't never happened and you stated you buy the same gas from the same pump everytime... i drive the same ALL the time..... had many many fast cars with big motors. I've never seem gas milage change for no reason. I'm thinking its from atmospheric pressure and temp

it's not just a modern car thing.. My old car I use to own a 91' Caddy had the miles per gallon feature or how many miles I could drive on the gas in the tank.

The only thing I can think of is there is a winter and summer gas that could change the gas mileage

No, I didn't say that. I'm sorry reading comprehension isn't a strong suit.

You're the one who posted a thread whining about 2MPG. So, clearly, you sat down and calculated it at some point.

Good for you.

His point was who actually makes mental notes of stuff like that; not whether or not a vehicle has the capability to track it. Obviously his luxury sports cars has such a simple feature.

Some of ya'll dense as fuck.

Quite the outlier. He's notoriously a creature of habit and still lives in the same house he built decades ago.

Now do Elon Musk or any of the billionaires who take a private helicopter from their house to their office.

Every vehicle I drive displays milage and miles per tank. I guess I'll stay away from german crap lol

I think it's tempture and atmospheric pressure. Gas compresses with cooler temps

You seem to be unable to track changes in your environment and what's going on around you. Just curious do you know what time it is?

Hopefully you'll be able to figure out when a light turns from red to green. Lol

... I was referring to the guy who posted about his luxury sports cars. I swear, I sometimes wonder why people who clearly can't read for shit bother trying to converse on boards.

You mean by modern like my brand new Denali HD? It has the exact same "luxury" features as an Escalade. Didn't you just say you drive a soccer mom vehicle?

I'm not really sure why you're trying to dick measure in any way... You've got a guy making fun of you with two luxury sports cars and another one with a "luxury" diesel truck (as luxury as that can be, anyway).. while you drive the same shit middle class soccer moms do. Maybe just stick to bitching about 2 MPG like other broke dicks do.

.... I think it's a compliment, though, when the guy who can't read calls someone a "dumb fuck".
