Need recommendations for a wordpress comment plugin
Any recommendations on a WordPress comment system besides the native one.
It's for a mainstream site. I would like to increase user engagement. Years ago we had good results with the native one but I feel there are better options to make it easier for people to comment I just don't know which one to choose.

Disqus is about the only one worth using outside the native system.
You could go the route of integrating FaceBook comments as well, but I wouldn't do so unless you're also aiming to build a social media brand or network that ties into the site. |
