Adults in the porn industry work hard to prevent pregnancies on set, but some men are taking additional precautions given the recent turn of events that could put women in a more difficult situation. While many adult film sets are in California - a famously Democratic state - some males in the porn industry are getting vasectomies in case additional anti-abortion legislation reaches the state. “I never viewed abortion as birth control but as something to be used in a last-ditch if something went completely wrong—a break-in-case-of-emergency situation,” porn star Matt Slayer told The Daily Beast. “The Supreme Court taking away the right to choose made me give a long hard look at my role in any potential situation. "I realized I should just take my baby batter out of the mix.”
