I am going to get a new EV on Thursday.

Not a car, but a scooter (on sale for £120).

It was £400 and has decent specs such as air tires.

It only does 11 miles max but I have it just to go to shops and see people close range.

They are not legal in the UK, but from what I gather if your in London the police will take them from you and give you points. But outside London the police seem not to bother unless your acting stupid.

Many students near me have them. And if it does get taken off me then its only £120, and with luck I will have it for a year and got lots of use out of it.

Its just that getting my push bike out is a pain, and driving is a pain.

They are supposed to be making them legal in the UK, but that is a case of when or if ever.

I used to use them back in 2003 to get around the studios. At 36,000 square feet, it was a hell of a lot quicker than walking - We had a small fleet of them (10+) - Ours went 15mph - Enjoy!!!

It says the one I am getting does a max of 15mph, but I bet it does not.

I bet it stops as soon as if comes to a leaf.
