GA 4 and Google Site Kit

Hi: I was wondering if is there any difference between creating GA 4 property manually from the admin area of Gooogle analytics, and doing it with the Google Site Kit plugin for WordPress?

I have plenty of blogs to create accounts and I am just looking for the fastest way.

thanks

Google Site Kit will connect your site with Google Analytics 4, but it will not bring any of that data into your Google Site Kit dashboard – not even the basic overview report that it provides for Universal Analytics

the other thing is it is not as detailed as some plugins built for specific services. For example, it can’t help you set up Google Analytics event tracking, which is something the popular Google Analytics plugins allow for. Google still seems to be working out some kinks, as evidenced by the WordPress.org

Overall it's a good product but those things I mentioned will have to be in your decision in using it.

Yes, it sucks big time, I am using other plugins to see stats in the dashboard. But I have 40 small blogs to create GA 4 properties. It seems much faster to install and activate the Site kit on all sites at once (with InfiniteWP) and then create GA 4 properties from there instead of copying code from the google page.

So the question remains, is GA4 property created with the site Kit exactly the same as the one I would create manually on the Google Analytics site?

I thought I answered that in my past post - it isn't the same - close and good but not the same
