We have been informed that Verisign will be increasing prices for .COM domains starting on September 1, 2023. This means that, unfortunately, NameSilo will need to do the same. We are contacting you because you have active or expired .COM domain(s) in your account.

There is still time to take advantage of the current lower prices by renewing your existing domains for multiple years and registering any new .COM names before September 1st. You can disregard this email if you have already renewed your domain(s) recently.

Yep it will be 9.77$ on my registrar, that is a lot considering once it was only 6$.

What is the amount its going up by? 10c/20c? Its usually every year in September but its hard to tell what the amount is based on that email.

If now is 9.77$ and before was 9.15$ that is 62 cents difference.

I will never understand this, the system is automatic, it involves no work from an actual person to register a domain, it's not like a worker has to wake up, put on his magic pants, and process domain registrations, the increase is just robbery because they know people will accept it

Sorry, I meant what is the Verisign fee that all registrars must increase their fee by. NameSilo is increasing their rates by 62c, but that usually includes a markup on their end as well. I'm looking for the amount that is coming from Verisign (unless they're not marking it up, then it would be the same).
