Is affiliate marketing a viable strategy for the adult industry? If I develop a platform like to OnlyFans featuring 500 of our models, complete with narratives and purchasable content, could affiliate marketing be effective in driving traffic to the site?

What are the prevalent promotional tactics employed by websites in the contemporary digital landscape nowadays?

You discribe more something like a normal paysite than a typical fansite. Or do all your models upload new content daily/weekly to make people want to subscribe to their profiles and follow for future stuff? If not then make 1 site with all your content for 1 price and not a OnlyFans clone with tons of inactive models.

And yes affiliate marketing works. There is a reason why it exist and many people do it.

no.

the affiliates with any traffic are pushing high payout programs they've been pushing for years. no one wastes traffic on a new program.

the cost of traffic is too high, so there are no small affiliates anymore.

this might change if the tube mafia gets shut down.

If you develop a tracking system better than OF.com then yes. make it so each performer can do payouts, and be managed internally or on their own.
