Whats most AWESOME song youve ever seen live

I gotta say Pink Floyd at Yankee stadium ONE OF THESE DAYS

I sat about 30 rows back , dead center and it was mind damaging the sound lights energy.

Grateful Dead - Fire on the mountain. But to be fair I was outside the stadium which arguably can be even a better experience. Also Hawkwind in a tiny club, it felt like the sax guy was summoning a tornado right inside the club.

Travelled a good deal to see a Buzzcocks show. At the venue I met a really cool, oddball, arty girl (gotta admit she kinda got stuck with me through some aquaintances). Emotions were running high throught their set and at the end they started to play this song "I Believe" which chorus goes "I believe in . . . there is no more love in this world anymore" and at that very same time I was falling (unrequitedly) in love. It felt exhilarating.

In 2013 I went to see Green Day in London and for their encore they played all of Dookie. At the time that was unheard of and a wonderful surprise.

Of course now they are touring and playing all of Dookie and American Idiot at every show, but 10 years ago it felt pretty special.

Saw Elvin Bishop twice at Humboldt State. In 1977, sat front row center. There was an aisle up the middle and i was in the aisle seat. Elvin went wireless and came up in the audience. I had to move out of my seat so he could stand on it It is like the coolest thing that ever happened to me at a concert.

Kung Fu is more than just a hit song from the 70's, it's a way of life.

Then being a way of life- you know that it's defensive and not provoking. First lesson they teach you is no matter how much martial arts you know that if you're on a street and you see someone or a group that maybe trouble you are to walk across the street and avoid

It's used with wisdom and in last resort. Not as a threat.

Something by either Alice Cooper or KISS in 2014. Absolutely amazing tours, and too many songs to choose from!

One of my best souvenir is the Musical Comedy "West Side Story" on stage in Paris, France, in 1961. I was 15yo and I was fascinated by the action and the talent of the actors-singers.

New stadium? Or the old one where you can see the games from the 4 train?

Anyway, I seen DMX live in Jacksonville Florida in '99. That was his peak. It was incredible for me as a kid. We mosh pitted for Ruff Ryder's Anthem.

Jay-Z was there too, but DMX was the ONE.

Little known fact, bro could roll a blunt with one hand without looking at it.

Pink Floyd, Ames Iowa 1994. They had the giant inflatable pig with flaming eyes and they flew a WWII fighter plane into the wall. Lots of explosions and fire work. They wrapped it up with the huge disco ball that lit up the entire place. Great long solid show. Unfortunately I was too coked up and couldn't stop talking.

Must have been somewhat around 2000 - we went to a secret unanounced Green Day concert in Hamburg with like 500 people or so. That was pretty fun

I'm yet to embark in a (at least) six hours podcast multi-episodes around that track in "A History of Rock Music in 500 songs."
