Did anybody predict AI porn?

Did anybody see AI porn coming more than a few years ago?

I noticed that the domain AIPorn.com was only registered in 2012. PornAI.com was registed back in 2002, but who knows if they had any conception of what AI porn would be, or if they intended to use it for 'AI porn'.

People had been talking about VR porn, and sex robots for decades. For at least a century in the case of sex robots.

But nobody seemed to put two and two together and thought - "well, if AI could power a robot, then it could perhaps make porn as well."

People have long wondered if AI would ever be able to write books and create music, but I can't remember many discussing the idea of AI creating porn. I often thought about how there would eventually be VR porn that would be produced 'on the fly', with biofeedback sensors to help guide the action in the way the viewer wants. But I didn't think about the intermediary step of AI having to start building porn in a simpler way, as it does today, otherwise I would have been buying up AI porn domains myself.

I guess we already had a form of AI porn in the guise of cgi porn games and adult worlds, which have been around for a long time.

George Orwell may have been the first to predict AI porn in his novel 1984. He talks about "the fiction department" which produces trashy media for the masses, and this includes porn (Julia works in the fiction department).

there's been a ton of movies about AI, but the actual movie called "A.I." came out in 2001. that might have triggered the domain purchase. "S1M0NE" too in 2002 maybe.

The story follows a fading director who creates a virtual actress to star in his films and the attempts he makes to keep her non-presence a secret as she becomes more famous.

when AIporn or pornAI was purchased, i´m sure they were purchased not thinking of BS photo & vids from computer generation...

most probably a website page with a ball bouncing around the screen & finally sliding between a 2d pair of stick legs and two white knockers would come up on the screen with text image "you hit the spot"
