Mechbunny Cam Aggregator Ranking Issues... Project Abandoned?

I hear from a lot of people that the Mechbunny Cam Aggregator script doesn't rank very well in google, and this is from many sources, does anyone have any luck ranking it?

Seems the whole project was abandoned before when you went to https://www.mechbunny.com/ you would see it linked in the header, now it shows no signs of the cam aggregator script

Also the demo is down and doesn't work anymore, I am guessing Konrad has given up on the Cam Aggregator script

Even the tube script is no longer available https://www.mechbunny.com/tube-script

I would guess there turned out to not be any money in supporting it (kind of as predicted).

I'm guessing a lot of people saw the bigger cam aggregators doing well, decided to just put up a script, called it a day and got mad when they only received 50 hits per day at a 70% bounce rate, 1:31 time on site, 1.95 page views.

I wouldn't want to deal with that nightmare of a ticket headache either.

It ranks fine for us. Probably many people not putting time into it and using the standard title/description/category, etc setup, ending up with the same site as 100's of others.

I do have some clients experiencing the same issue, while others are ranking well, so it’s hard to pinpoint the exact reason.

I’ve already modified it extensively for each project. If anyone needs further adjustments, I can change it from a to z, add or remove anything as needed. Feel free to reach out

honestly i prefer using javscript, i been mostly doing node.js with express framework. i redid babelogger last week with trade top list, with skim going to the top senders. plugs, galleries, video, and image posts, scraper built in like arylia. if u want to check it out dm me your github username.

doesnt require mongodb or mysql. simple npm install and npm start command.

Nice, I use PHP with Laravel heavily in my platform, but also regularly use Golang, TypeScript/Node and Rust.

How do you know the cam aggregator works only with 7.4 PHP ? I kind of like it, I do have some problems, like the whitelist box where you enter models names got limited name capacity so after 1,4k+ names you get an error and you need to manually delete names in order to be able to add new ones. LiveJasmin whitelabels do not work for me, can only send to main site, stripchat models tend to dissapear from the site for like 10 minutes then they come back.

But I don't believe it ranks any better or worse then any other script out there.

Also there's no real alternative to this script or is it ?

Because the developer said so. It's the same problem I had with MB Tube script.

A little part of the code - probably only the licensing stuff - is encrypted using ionCube. That's what causes the problem.

Anyway, think it's been there since ca_update_1.2.0 way back. If anyone uploaded that update, look on your instal for:

admin=> ioncube=> PHP 7.4-8.2

Overwrite the four Ioncube encrypted files in admin on your server with the ones you find there and you should be able to switch everything to php 8.2.

IIRC Ioncube didn't have available code for php 8 when the MB cam script was first released.

This. If it is not working for you with recent PHP it means you are running a very outdated version. I run it on 8.4 with no issues.

its a matter of tweaking the header stuff for seo, and a few of the template files for the markup to use proper tags

Honestly, there’s more to it than that, pagination issues, duplicate content across pages, basically the entire frontend needs a rebuild to make it SEO-friendly.

I still want to create a template for it and offer it for free, i just need some time to wrap my head around the structure.

The goal is something pixel-perfect but very simple, with a content-first approach and proper on-page SEO throughout.

We can also move it to the latest PHP versions without any issues, we’ll just need to tweak the IonCube stuff a bit.

The actual PHP code around it is pretty simple.

This is because you are running a very old version of the MechBunny script. Update it to the current version and it will work fine.

Well im seeing Version: 1.2.7 in my admin so it's the newest right ?

it looks like /home/domainname/public_html/admin/functions.mb.php and other files did not get overwritten during previous updates.

if necessary you can manually replace them via ftp etc.

I'm running on PHP 8.4.16 with no problems at all.

Do you think I can just overwrite this file with the one from newest update ? Because I remember this script needed to be updated slowly meaning one version, then second version, where you couldnt skip to last version without installing previous ones.

On the cam aggregator script, there are ioncube files in admin/ioncube/ for different versions of PHP. You can upload these and it will work up to 8.4. The tube script works up to 7.4 only.

I'm still alive, albiet never go on GFY anymore as this place is just a political forum at this point with no business being done. We mostly do larger custom work and maintenance for clients now. Age verification killed most of the demand for ready-made scripts in adult in what was already a rather small market. We still provide support normally for all our projects and all our software still functions as normal.

You should be able to update JUST the ioncube files if you need.
