Very very good!! Electrical stuff can be difficult.. Next you need to install a clapper for it.

rotfl ;-)p Did the ceiling box have the proper kind of mount in the attic? Remember you can't just hang aa fan on a lone 4" box. Thats the number 2 thing that people do wrong with ceiling fans.

My bad you cant get shocked just holding the hot (black) wire you need to ground yourself or touch the (white)neutral wire.

If anyone needs electrical tips ask me I'll hook you up.

Its nice being an electrician I wire all my own shit up save a ton of money all custom shit throughout my home recessed lighting.

Charging people $40-$100 an hour to do electrical work is nice

hmmm..... no attic. This was in the guest room downstairs... but there's no attic anyway. There was a fan already there, but it was installed badly.... they didn't mount it to the box like they should've.... but instead used 4 drywall screws outside the box.... bad idea... (which is why I was replacing it)

I mounted to the box. Fucker is steady as a rock.

If the box wasn't metal Amp, you should get the brace desined for using in that area... they make one that you slide thru the 4" opening and spread it open and lock it in place. (Yep HD has one of 'dos too! lol) I are a super at one currently. lmao

If you change the toilet there is a sure 'nuff thing you need to do with that. Let me know if you need to do that and I'll tell you the little helper. ;-) It insures the thing won't leak at the bqse for about an extra buck.

Sleazy, its cake to tighten the fan mount. Loosen the screw at the base of the fan - shroud by the drywall. (theres one there somewhere, then shove it up tighter and retighten it. All fans wobble abit. They're designed to absorb the revolutions that way.` But it shouldn't wobble a LOT. It may have a tightening collar UNDER the decorative shroud, but its no big deal to tighten that either.

my fan doesn't wobble at all.... steady as ever. I done good.

on the toilet... yes.... I'll be changing all 4 of them soon. But I'll hire out for that. I'm not that brave.

4???? I could save you 1k for 100 paypal and you make the call here. lol The hubby could talk you thru it without a problem. Fixtures are easy to change when you have someone telling you what to do step by step. ;-)p Actually ANY of the work is easy when someone experienced guides you.

He has been designing and building since his early teens. (Obviously he didn't design until he was older) but he was finishing my ex and I's 5k sq ft hse and has done tons since. Surprised me how much he did actually know until I went to college with him. Even his profs treated him with alot of respect.

And here I thought you were an adventurer and you're just a wannabe. lol
