Is this old news ( IBILL )
iBill News
Last Updated: Thursday 18 September 2003 at 5:25 PM U.S. Eastern Time Attention US iBill Complete Clients Over the last 24 hours we have experienced a high number of stand-in transactions due to an issue with our US credit card processor. The rebiller has been disabled until the problem has been resolved. As a result, you may notice display issues. Please see below for a detailed description of our stand-in process. Standin Processing What is it? Standin is a process by which transactions are initially approved (given that the purchase passes our fraud scrub) due to the inability of iBill to get the proper response from the bank in a timely manner. This may result from timeout issues or during maintenance periods by our processor. What are the potential effects to my business? The potential drawback of this process is temporary access for consumers because all transactions that pass our fraud scrub are initially approved. Once the banking network connection has been restored, the original transaction will be automatically resubmitted for approval (a maximum of 4 times in a 12 hour period). Upon receiving the proper response, the transaction information will be moved to CMI. As an iBill client, do I have the option of disabling this feature? Subscription accounts do have the ability to disable standin processing. Catalog clients, however, do not. Please email your master and sub account numbers to [email protected] if you would like this feature to be turned off. Fuck its the end of the world again>>>>>> Cindy xx |
