altavisa = google?

why does altavista look like google now?

does overture own them both?

isnt google still a whole seperate company?

if so, isnt this blatant copying?

just wondering...

Woah... weird. I haven't been to altavista in months.
I used to use it 5+ years ago when it was the best. It went to crap fast though.

You're either a portal or a search engine, google seems to have created the cookie cutter template for search engines.

Overture is now owned by Yahoo, I guess they didn't want to be competing with themselves, so they turned Altavista into just a search engine.
