I've got these superbikes to choose from... what to get?

http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/...iceriders.html

I'm in Aus and getting my Learners but will be able to dish out whatever $$ to get the hottest bike. However those are the only ones that are approved for me to drive....

What's the hottest bike there?

pick up a used bike... save your money. You will dump it and cry. Learn how to ride on something you don't care about and buy something nice when you have control over the machine

No problem with that, I just want something that will probably be used but still looks hot and is in that list.

This is what bikes are good for

http://www.mrpheer.com/xray.jpg

Get a good used bike and some good medical insurance.
No matter how good you ride, you CANNOT stop someone else from running over you. I wasnt even fucking moving, was stopped at a traffic light, and still got ran over.

If you can find one where you live, the Buell Blast is an excellant beginner bike and one you can keep for years and have fun on.

Don't be stupid and buy a bike you can't control...

My buddy died a while back riding his bike down a street doing between 75-100mph on a 30mph road.. he hit a pot hole, the bike veared right faster than he could control.. he hit a metal mailbox enclosure, the bike flipped, with him on it, he hit a telephone pole, then was ejected off the bike and then struck another metal mailbox enclosure head first.. he died on impact...

His father died on a motorcycle as well.. In highschool he said he would like to die on a motorcycle.. He got his wish..

Just be careful..

Don't look for the fastest...it will own you.... look for the cheapest and learn how to ride. I have been riding for 20 years and raced for Team Kawasaki for two years as a profession. Worry about learning the physics of the machine and how it reacts to your input. Don't worry about how you look right now. If you really want to learn how to ride, pick up a dirt bike and slide that bitch around. Then you will be ready for fast when you can ride the wheels off a dirt bike.
