I'd say I'll still go for a wired one. A lot of people I know wouldn't vouch for a wireless one either.

It looks just like the one I have except I do not have the model with the charger.. I would go for that one in a heart beat though. The only thing I do not like about my wireless mouse is that I have to change the batteries often.

I love my wireless optical mouse

Uses up a lot of batteries but that's what rechargable batteries are for

Wireless mice never seem to work perfectly for me. Always a little "off". I use a Kensington Pocketmouse Pro with my laptop now with a thin cord that retracts into the mouse body.

Yeah I have the MX700. It kicks ass.

I play first person shooters (battle field vietnam) and it keeps it well .. There is no lag, and I find it is weighted well.

My batteries will die during the day if I don't charge it for two nights in a row. I do however use my computer an awful lot.

Just picked one up this week after I wore out another wireless trackball in less than 6 months. I just need a damn mouse dispenser next to my desk. The mx500 is the best wired mouse I have owned.

Edit: It is the new mx510 Performance version that I bought. New optics read faster, making it more accurate.
