Mojo-search problems?
Just found this online and thought I'd post it here to see if anyone else has heard about it. We don't use them but were considering them.

I us them for a long time now, never had a problem, and I'm sure i never will.

I don't know about their problems, but I like mojo search. I even use it when I need to find something a little dif. The only problem I have ever had with them was when I accidently deleted part of my code and went inactive. But they send you a warning regardles of the problem and give you time to fix it. Besides the payout seems fair, I think it is just sour grapes.

I understand guys! I just thought it should be posted to draw out any problems that might be happening. Better safe than sorry.
We've never heard of Mojo screwing anyone in any way ourselves and heard nothing but good. If anything that sort of post where you can see the complainers just alert you to THEM being a prob eh?  We keep a list of that sort of thing so we never get involved with them someplace down the road. As in the whiners not mojo. *G* |

That webpage was made a long long long time ago from some guy (forgot his name). That guy was pissed because ... well I don't really remember. Because he fucked up probably. I remember a big long nasty post on the PC bbs from that guy and the mojosearch people fighting.

OK I want to add a few cents here. 12Clicks and I have had a few words in the past. Thats old news. He is a good guy from what alot of people say, so heres my suggestion to anyone who has questions about him or any sponsor for that matter. Make a sample page with the sponsors ad on it. Then ask them to look at it first before you waste your time or theirs.
OK thats only about1/2 cent worth but it does work and it will avoid alot of public pissing matches, that never helps anyone. ------------------ Smile and Be Happy Lightning Free Hosting |

I've never had a problem with being paid by Mojo Search, but I don't like how they changed their system up so when you search for anything now it takes you to clickheretofind.com without any search results (and gives you a pop-up)... and then you have to search again on that site and it takes you to some other site that gives you goto.com search results. I liked it when it went right to goto.com and that was that... this new shit is cheezy... oh well... just thought i'd say my 2 cents...

my experience with mojosearch:
i used them for 2 months, and i was target='_blank'-ing their links. i thought this was allowed, in fact their page said it was. i got my account cancelled because i popped up the results. i bitched them out in about 10 emails back and forth until eventually THEY PAID ME. they were being assholes to me at first because they thought i was an asshole cheater. i wansn't. i actually got them to check out my page the first day i used them to ensure i was within all the rules and regulations. apparantly i was as they didn't have a problem with the new window popup for the search results. a few months later they DID have a problem with it. cheaters ruin it for those of us that are not cheating but get caught by accidentally breaking the rules. but what can anyone do? ------------------ HQ |

Ooooo HG! lol Yes when you make an honest mistake and then get yelled at all over!! And can't explain it well enough to satisfy a sponsor since they have dealt with a hundred cheats who probabaly used the same excuse. I've screwed up and gotten yelled at and then the old man yells some more afterwards!
Boys I didn't post this to get you bickering! Any time there is a handful of webmasters ticced off then it should be looked at I thought. I know some seem to like to dump on 12clicks but he seems to be a pretty good guy from what I have read here. 'Sides if he was the ogre then Lens would toss him out eh? Just thought some might want to look at maybe not dealing with some of those webmasters that were upset if they found something on their sites objectional. It truly was meant as educational and not an excuse for name calling, pointing fingers or general p*ssing on one another! So everyone shake hands or I come to the next IA or internext or whatEVER they are calling them with my bat. We're sposed to be trying to help one another! |
