Fantasy Football Help and Opinion...(Long Post...Lots of Info)
**Beware Long Post...LOTS OF INFORMATION**
Im currently 5-0. Ive been lucky up to this point, My QB has basically carried my team and I have recived week to week "gifts" on various pickups (ie. I picked up Stecker, then he had a 100+ yard rushing game). Im SECOND in my H2H league of 16 behind by 89.36 points. I need to have the BEST POSSIBLE LINEUP for point production, because my league is a money league, and after week 8 the pot is dispursed to the top player. Heres the basics: Scoring in my league: Pass Completions: .5 per completion Pass Yardage: 1 per 25 Yards Receptions: .5 per reception Recieving Yardage: 1 per 10 yards Rushing yardage: 1 per 15 Yards Touchdowns: 6 Penalties: -1 for fumble, -2 for fumble lost, -2 for interception Defense: 2 for Sack, INT, or Fumble Recovery Points Allowed 0 points (15) Points Allowed 1-6 points (9) Points Allowed 7-13 points (7) Points Allowed 14-20 points (5) Points Allowed 21-27 points (3) Points Allowed 28-34 points (1) Points Allowed 35+ points (0) My Roster(16 spots): QB D.Culpepper(MIN), B. Roethlisberger(PIT) WR D.Givens(NE), T.Glenn(DAL), K.Colbert(CAR), T. Houshman.(CIN), R. Hymes(BAL), Ke. Johnson(DAL) RB D.Staley(PIT), R.Drougns(DEN), M.Pittman(TB), A.Stecker(NO) TE T.Gonzalez(KC), S.Meier(TEN) K J.Reed (PIT) DEF New England(NE) Starting Slots: QB WR1 WR2 WR3 RB1 RB2 TE WR/RB K DEF (6 Bench) Free Agents available for pickup E. Wilford(JAX - WR) - Had him on my reciever corps, replaced him T.Housh from Cin. Possible scoring threat? Better to start than who i have on my squad? E. Kennison(KC - WR) - Being welcomed back. Adds another weapon to the KC offense. Possible for him to put up more points than my top WR's I currently have signed? Defense- Houston, St.Loius, Cincinnati, San Diego Do any of these teams have the egde over the teams that they face this week. New Englands Defense is up against Seattle this week. They have been strong, but they do bend quite abit...Dont expect big numbers from their Defense...but they will be ready for the game...they could pitch 35 points allowed just as fast as they could pitch a shutout. You NEVER know with them...should i take the gamble? No one of Value available for RB pickups...Tried McGahee....Hes already gone.... Bottom Line: Who do you put in my starting lineup. Who will produce the most points and why? Discuss, Explain, Have at it! |
