Anyone have a personal chef

I am thinking of hiring a personal chef a couple days a week. Anyone have any experience with this?

HAHA, I think a full time chef cooking 3 meals a day at 150 grand a year would be cheaper.

Yeah, I've looked into it. It's actually more expensive than taking a few people to a high end steak house, but the chef goes and buys the groceries, cooks, cleans, and packages the leftovers in labeled containers so you can eat it later.

The thing is, I don't think I would want a fully prepared type chef meal everyday of the week. Sometimes I like eating pizza or cereal for dinner. I think having a chef come in 2 or 3 times a week tops would be more than enough, plus I am sure there'd be a shitload of leftovers.

1 of my good friends used to be a chef at Tavern on the Green and The Carlton.

He's coming over tomorrow to make Butternut Squash soup for Halloween

I had one when I lived in the suburbs. She came 1-2 times a month and would cook 4 serviings of 5 different dishes, some side orders and dessert. I think it was $3-400 a visit. It was GREAT

I found her here:
