I somehow doubt that I'll ever be happy with my body. I've a lot of weight to lose, and honestly, I've never seen myself as pretty. But I've had my share of compliments, and let me tell ya, every compliment given has made me feel 10 feet tall and bulletproof.

I just have to learn to accept a compliment. I have a hard time with that, since I've been taught that it's not polite to accept a compliment without trying to humble yourself a bit. I wonder if that's a southern-lady thing, or if my grandmother just didn't want me to get an over-inflated ego.
