Anyone have a Sony Flat Panel?

A friend just spent like $1.9k on a sony laptop that had an xbrite monitor an it is absolutely breathtaking.

so i went to look at the 19" flat panels, and they have some scary reviews!

mainly, with a black image filling the screen, there is some "light leaking" whatever the fuck that is ...

also with a light background, its hard to read text on the screen.

im looking for a super high quality, 19" flat panel monitor!!

been looking for like 6 months now lol

thanks.

I like my Samsung 193p's I think they provide excellent picture quality and don't have a huge bezel with buttons or extra plastic. Plus you can easily mount them to the wall.

Samsung SyncMaster 17" TFT-LCD Flat-Panel Monitor looks good

Samsung SyncMaster 17" TFT-LCD Flat-Panel Monitor why is this cheaper than above, but looks like better specs?

Samsung SyncMaster 17" TFT-LCD Flat-Panel Monitor appears to be same as above, but with better contrast. is it worth the money difference?

Sony X-Brite SDM-HS74P/B 17" LCD Monitor amazon has amazing reviews for this monitor. specs arent as flashy but it looks like it is perfect.

Sony X-Brite SDM-HS94P/S 19" LCD Monitor same as above but 19", this is what i wanted but read the reviews!! "black is never black ..." WTF???

Ok I am buying one of these fuckers, im sick of shopping!!

now which one? lol

yes the 17" reviews are perfect, its the 19" with the issues

i was hoping for the 19" but looks like i will end up setling on the 17" due in part to great reviews

Do a google search before you buy, amazon reviews and newegg reviews are allways helpful.
I have a 23" HP, and it's great ... but it costs just as much as that lappie. :\
