I think I'll post a daily "Anguished English" funny. I have a ton of them.

Today's Anguished English:

A line in a newspaper article: "They had to give one of the players artificial insemination."

Past days:

Headline: "Police Begin Campaign To Run Down Jaywalkers"
Headline: "Grandmother of Eight Makes Hole In One."

Why newspapers should be careful with their corrections:
"Our paper carries the notice last week that Mr. Oscar Hoffnagle is a defective on the police force. This was a typographical error. Mr. Hoffnagle, of course, is a detective on the police farce."

Doctor's Jargon:
"Went to bed feeling well, woke up dead."

Accident Report:
"The guy was all over the road. I had to swerve a number of times before I hit him."
