In all the cases I have seen - there has been no doubt that the person was pretending to be under age.

I seriously doubt they would try and do that. Why? Even if you thing cops are dishonest (most are BASICALLY honest), there is no reason for them to.

Look at it like speeding - a cop COULD lie and say you were speeding, but why bother - he can find plenty of speeders without having to lie.

FBI agents really are trying to get real preditors off the net. They don't need to "entrap" you - as it is easy to find men that will fall for a 16 year old.

Be careful if it is in another state. Then the age of consent doesn't apply. In many states - like MD - I could meet a 16 year old and have sex with her. Over state lines - it is 18 - even if both states are 16.

If I crossed state lines to do it - then the feds might take over. Usually the feds (I Think this used to be true - may have changed with new laws) try to lure you over state lines. There are more crimes the can arrest you for that way.

Back in the days when I was a newbie I met a webmaster who ran another tgp. Well after months of getting to know him, he told me that the real reason he was a webmaster was because he was working for the goverment.

He said he wasn't targeting webmaster in general, just webmasters who promoted kiddie porn. He said he actualy checks submission from his office at the goverment and everything.

I thought it was kinda freaky at the time, but wether or not I believe it now is a different story.

After they arrested him.. yada yada, They said that he had travelled there to meet a minor, and he said, he did not meet a minor.. the only person he met was an adult police officer. Careful Gleem one of my buds the same age as me (we were 18 then 19 now) hooked up with a chick at a night club. Turns out she was 17 and had gotten in on a fake ID. The next day her parents got wind of it and that he was 18 and had him arrested. Even though she said she was 18, had and ID saying she was 18, and met in an 18+ only night club it didn't matter he still got fucked by the man. Now he has to register as a sex offender and he's up to his neck in legal crap. But that might just be CA we have some pretty fucked up laws when it comes to minors having sex.

An FBI undercover introduced himself as an underage girl over the net to a guy in his 50's and when the guy came to the motel to meet the girl they arrested him right on the spot. They found condoms, viagra and other crap in his pockets. So a thing like this is possible.

It isn't entrapment unless the cop encourages you to do something, then busts ya for it. All they do in these cases is play the part of a minor and let the perp make the initial proposition, then they are free to go with it. But I'm sure there are lots of em that push the envelope, but in my mind, they should be able to do whatever it takes to get these sick fucks off of the streets.

An FBI undercover introduced himself as an underage girl over the net to a guy in his 50's and when the guy came to the motel to meet the girl they arrested him right on the spot. They found condoms, viagra and other crap in his pockets. So a thing like this is possible.

All they do in these cases is play the part of a minor and let the perp make the initial proposition, then they are free to go with it. But I'm sure there are lots of em that push the envelope, but in my mind, they should be able to do whatever it takes to get these sick fucks off of the streets.
