How important are titles on business cards?

We're looking at getting new business cards printed and the question came up about titles on the cards. How important are they ? ... our organization (15 odd people) is very 'flat' like most of yours, and for the most part none of us really care for titles but how much does it matter to others ?

My opinion: In flat organizations the title is not all that meaningful considering that most also are involved in other tasks aside from their main area. Example, the designer also does the planning for the tradeshows or the tech staff does hardware maintenance as well as programming?

I?d suggest to either have no title for anybody or have titles for everybody. If you are planning to expand your operations It is a good idea to start out with a good structure.
