New FTP Exploit Hitting Us?

Got word yesterday of a new FTP exploit from my host.

Anyone heard of it and found a cure?

It's called a security vulnerability not an exploit.
An exploit is a technique or program that takes advantage of the security vulnerability.

Or maybe you're correct, your host waited until the exploit became public before they decided to upgrade, no surprise from the vast majority of hosts that spam this forum.

Hold on, I'm still collecting info from him. Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon. I'm not a server tech so it's all Ferengi to me.
