Here we go...and it starts.

This is going to force an appeal that will probaly end up in the Supreme Court, and decide whether the government can decide individual state laws regarding abortions. And with all the right wing maniacs we having sitting on the highest court in the country...this could get very interesting.

This is all planned out....

"The timing is right, supporters say, given the recent appointments of Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito to the high court. The two conservatives could pave the way to a decision overturning Roe v. Wade."

"An anonymous donor has offered $1 million to the state to defray the costs of litigation." And how many millions $ will go to the man that made the appointments?

I'm against abortions but don't think it should still be illegal. I'm also for more state rights and less fedral control at the state level, but this is pretty fucked up.

Thank God we voted Bush in to a second term.

Just think, without him in office we would all have to be making important life altering decisions on our own, im glad i no longer have to choose how i live my life as all of these laws start to take away the difficult decision making.

Personally, i doubt im ever going to get pregnant so i really dont care on Roe Vs Wade one way or the other as it doesnt affect me.

I am glad that women who have been raped in SD will have to carry the rapists child for 9 months then, have to raise it for the rest of their lives as a constant reminder of being raped though, they dont deserve to be able to get on with their lives after such an ordeal.

Im also glad that we have a religious fanatic running this country.

Thanks America

Regards,

Lee

Lmao here comes the Rape card. Btw its Roe v. Wade. Care to know the percentage of abortions that were due to rape or incest? If it was limited to just those circumstances, and not the lack of parental responsibilty I and many others wouldnt get so mad about it.

Umm Roe v. Wade passed in 73. Do I need to make a remark regarding your stupidity?

If you didn't see this coming, you're asleep at the switch. Bush has 2 anti-abortionists in the Supreme Court now. You see this one going back to the SC a mile away.

I'm against abortion by the way except in cases of rape, or within a few days of conception.

People need to start taking responsibility for the results of their fucking in this world.

So how do you feel about pharmacists that won't give out birth control, because it is against their religion.

You against the morning after pill too?

Where does this shit end.

For me personally, I could never have had a girlfriend or my wife have an abortion. That is for me to decide, not someone else.

I have a very close friend who was pregnant and had an amnio done, and the doctor fucked it up. The baby was gonna be a total vegetable. She chose not to have it. Was that wrong? Is she a bad person? No, her son that she has now is the most loved kid on the planet, and she is a person that would never do anything to hurt anyone.

I guess the government or you should decide for her.

No Im against all abortions, but especially late term ones. The "shit" should be done within no more than 2 months. Thats enough time to decide. There are abortions upto 30 weeks done. This wouldnt be nearly as big of an issue if there were stricter term limits. There are lots of children that live at only 25 weeks old. They are quite viable at that point. Limit it to within 2 months at most. My concern is for innocent lives, not some unresponsible potential parent.

So abortion is now banned in South Dakota? Ugh, isnt that a redneck Bush state? Those white trash motherfuckers breed like cockroaches. Fuck them and fuck that new law.

There were also many abortions before 1973. Why do you think this law is going to stop abortions?

Yes cause you are just sparkling with brilliance. I have 2 gorgeous little girls and a beautiful wife, and a beautiful house. It apparently makes me stupid to follow through with the responsibility of having children that I fathered. Yes I would of been so much better off letting some doctor stick a hoover up my wifes coochie and sucking my child into a baggie. Its people like you that raise personal freedom above the life of a innocent child that make me sick.

Ok, so hers was done in the second trimester. Once again, this is from a doctor fuck up, not anything she did. I know the agony she went thru, and judgemental people like you make me fucking sick. I guess she should have just had the kid and had it on life support, in your little world.

Yes a clumps of cells with fingers, and toes, and noses, and ears that respond to outside stimuli, and respond to pain. I have videos of my daughter at 18 weeks moving her arms and fingers. For that matter thats all you are is a large clump of cells.

Listen if it were only under special cirumstances, and only due to rape, or incest I wouldnt have a fookin problem with it. Thats not what the problem is here. Its a blanket permission slip to not worry about being responsible and allowing to kill a child out of lazyness and selfishness. And before you bring it up, Yes I have offered to take the child of a girl who had an unwanted pregnancy. She ended up having and keeping the child and toughing it out. She is now married to another man, and the little girl is 8 years old now. There is always adoption, but people are too selfish to give up 9 months of their lives to deliver a life into the world. Its selfishness plain and simple.

If you read my other posts you might see that I am personally against abortions for me and my family. I have 2 wonderful kids myself, but I know for a fact, that bad things happen in life.

These "rules" that someone else sets are just wrong.

Tell me then, when does life actually begin for you. Because there are certain mainstream religions out there that think that sperm is the start, and that condoms should be outlawed, as well as any type of contraception except for abstinence.

Lets pass that law too!

It's just sad that people think that a new law banning something will be a cureall.

What happened with prohibiton?

Thats actually easy for me. Without conception, there is no life. Therefore life begins at conception. As Ive said throughout the thread, I want it severely limited, and not used as post contraception.

Exactly. I don't need laws to "protect me" from myself.

I can remember when the republicans stood for no government intrusion into your life. Man that seems like a long time ago.

Guess you think criminals should be allowed to roam free too right? Its called responsibility. You might not mean to get too drunk and shoot someone, so you should be left off the hook right? The difference between me and you apparently is I take responsiblity for my actions, whether they be right or wrong. I never implied that Ive made every decision with out ere.

The laws are NOT to protect you, the laws would be to protect an unborn child. Innocent in everyway.

You my son, are comparing apples to oranges.

So it's wrong to abort a 1 week old fetus, but it's ok to send an 18 year old to his death in Iraq? What's the difference?

I dont like it, but its a hell of alot better than the alternative. Morning after pill doesnt really kill a child, it keeps the developing cell from attaching itself to the uterian wall. This is something that happens quite often during attempted pregnancys.

sorry, but a week old group of cells, isn't an unborn child. This law is to protect the views of the moral MINORITY.

You just contradicted yourself. You said in an earlier post that life begins at conception. Conception is when the sperm enters the egg, and has nothing to do with attaching to the uterus.

This is what I am trying to say, there is no easy say all answer to this. Therefor we should keep the gov. out of it.

Well, you know what, the women in the dakotas are little better than animals anyway.

I say we surround the state with barb wire and run armed patrols. And if some cow of a woman crosses the border pregnant, just shoot her, as a preventive measure.

It's the only way to be sure. You know that dumb bitch is just running off to get herself aborted.

Pregnant women shouldn't be traveling anyhow. Might hurt the baby. They got no call to be out of the house.

I didnt contradict myself, I answered your question. You didnt ask me when I think they should limit abortion terms too (which I already told you 2 months) you asked me when "I believe" life begins.

Spoken like a true conservative hypocrite.

Killing 18 yr olds...good
Abortion of a fetus that can't live on it's own....bad
