Excel question

Anyone here know Microsoft Excel well?

If I have a list of 10 things (1-10) in column A and in column B is something associated with each of those things in column A...

i.e. 1A = joe 1B = joe's phone number
2A = bob 2B = bob's phone number

Is there a way to sort column A alphabetically so that everything in column B stays with it's associated listing.

Does that make sense?

I figured I'd ask here 1st.

Yup...

Highlight everything.

Tools > Sort > Select column to sort by > Ascending / Descending

That should do it, depends on which version of Excell you have though

Lee

By the way, is it possible to print out a table so that it shows the table borders?
