What does the model light do in my strobe light?

There is a socket for a model light in my new strobe light. What does it do? Anybody know?

I am talking about the strobe light that I just bought. It has the drobe light and a socket for a model light. I have a wireless connection to my camera.

Oh My God.

It's a special lightbulb which you put the socket, so you can tell where your "light" is going to fall on the model. Thus Modeling Light.

Are you a shooter??

Not really, just trying to learn a little more. So I got to go out and get myself on e of those special bulbs?! Are they SPECIAL or.. just a certain voltage?

Oh, ok, good, your NOT doing this as a biz. Phewwww. I'm sorry. You do your thing and learn. Good for you!

Well yes, you must find out EXACTLY what bulb goes there. It should have come with one when you bought it. Ask your seller.

Yea, this is just a "hobby". So, since you guys are all pro's... why not ask.

I'll go to the seller and ask him. There wasn't a model light with it.
