I got the 80gb 7200 Seagate Barracuda. works pretty well. no complaints.
You can pick one up for a lot cheaper than it was before. It's around the $100-$150 I believe.

I payed 140 bucks for a used 1 gig drive in 95.
I remember paying 230 bucks for 4 megs of ram, bumping to a massive 8 megs of ram. ahhh those were the days. |
