It's the fecking exchange rate which is the real pain. It's 1.9 dollars to the pound now. A few months ago it was about 1.75 so we get less pounds for our dollars. You do get a better deal if you save all your cheques up as in my bank they charge a flat 9 dollars (about 5 pound) for however many cheques you pay in.

Epass at least avoids the cheque fees, but the exchange rate is about the same whatever you do

You still have to pay pounds for everything here - there is no getting away from it.
