about the movie 'butterfly effect'

it was on tv a few days ago so i watched it again and one thing seemed really unrealistic in a human mind kind of way. So this guy changes the past the whole time, then comes the moment he wakes up without arms. He goes crazy, well that is understandable, but then he tries to kill himself. When he still can change the past again so he's healthy again. But it's after his failed suicide attempt that he realises this... wtf? That didnt make sense. Id be jumping on those diaries again the moment id wake up and see i aint got no arms anymore.

It was "The Neverending Story" for grown-ups too retarded to understand the kids version. With slightly better CGI.

Why would you try to look for logic in a movie like that? The makers of the movie had no business attempting what they were trying to accomplish. Stories like "butterfly" need awesome setup and serious attention paid to potential plot holes -- none of which they were capable of.

Sucked ass.
