Here is a free tip. I had remembered it from a discussion I was having at Internext....

If you are looking to TRULY get into the adult business, or niche market, and be successful. Here is what you need to do.

1. Stop trying to be all things to all people.

Go look at clips4sale, or try and break down general porn into a micro niche. Instead of lesbians, do cheerleader lesbians. Instead of trying to be all things foot fetish. Pick one thing.

1. Cast Fetish only.
2. High Heels only.
3. Soles only.
4. Flip Flops only.
5. Boots only.
6. Balloons.
7. Trampling only.
8. Pedal Pumping only.

Some of those you could do with just a single girl, and a camera if so inclined and understand the fetish. You are not going to be high volume, but you are going to be very nichey, and have a lot of re-billing mofo's.

Add in the option for members to send in custom scripts, and requests, and you can make even more money. Start buy shooting enough to do at least one clips4sale update a week until you have enough content to launch a paysite.

Do not pay girls by the scene. Recruit accordingly.

foot fetish is something ive never understood, but i know there is about 10 niches inside the foot fetish niche. Same goes with everything else too and I think people are afraid to go to niche because they fear there will be no traffic or sites to trade traffic with.

What is your suggestion regarding payout for the girls? by session? by the hour? and with recruit accordingly you mean as needs arise, or girls fitting the niche?

I could break down other niches, as well, but I mainly deal with feet. So easier for me to break it down. Plus, none of these are a threat to me. I have my niche, and not interested in being all things to all people.

Plus, I can't say I fully understand all those listed. I get requests for many of them, and turn them down. Simply because I do not understand them, and it's a waste of my time and money.

But start thinking on a smaller scale... micro niche within a niche,.... and you will not have big sales. But you will remain in business. You will have a solid, loyal, base of customers, and over time you will be the queen of that market.

I suppose your niche is different to my niche, in so far as you can shoot feet pretty much without a break, but with mine I need to wait at least half hour or more between shoots...

Ive maximized the downtime though shooting 'Hidden Camera' voyeur content while the girls prepare to go again...

One of the things I took from Internext, and honestly believe in, is that this industry just has to get used to being smaller.

The millionaire gold rush is over. You will have to be happy making your $250-500k a year (or whatever it is). The point is not the dollar amount. The bottom line comes down to you have to specialize, and stop thinking adult is a winning lotto ticket.

If you have knock back a few hundred thousand, attend shows, and stay in business. That will be what success is regarding the adult biz. The days of knocking porn dead with some naked girls, a website, and traffic are done.

The heavier insulated, the better.

Have not bought domain name yet or looked into hosting, was thinking content first no point anything else until got enough content. Did put a bid in for a good domain name that is for sale but not heard back.

Jumping on a niche because everyone else is or because you *think* there is money in it, is not always a good idea. True fanatics can spot the posers and your sales will suffer accordingly.

if newbies don't grasp this concept from day one, they're fucked.
i looked into niches very deeply before even buy a domain. first thing you should do is find something you like and niche it down to a smaller niche even micro niche if needed.

Examples: you like big tits, so big tits will be your niche, but what to do with them big tits?
have them oiled, cummed on, fake, real, pierced, tan lines.
public sex(a niche in itself) but where? busses, cinema, streets, cabs, etc

Find what you like and find one thing in that niche to use.

This is the KEY chose to just do big tits and your site will be recieving a truck load of fail for not getting specific visitors

Knowing the forum, theres not much point... Its NOT a webmaster forum where anyone has any GENUINE knowledge or experience... Its a fan forum of wannabees, running WP blogs n stuff (With Default themes) that all think they know best... With ZERO real life knowledge themselves ! If I jumped in and offered to help, or even just recommended a REAL forum... Jumping on a niche because everyone else is or because you think there is money in it, is not always a good idea. True fanatics can spot the posers and your sales will suffer accordingly.

Industry Role: Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 13,900	if newbies don't grasp this concept from day one, they're fucked. i looked into niches very deeply before even buy a domain. first thing you should do is find something you like and niche it down to a smaller niche even micro niche if needed. Examples: you like big tits, so big tits will be your niche, but what to do with them big tits? have them oiled, cummed on, fake, real, pierced, tan lines. public sex(a niche in itself) but where? busses, cinema, streets, cabs, etc Find what you like and find one thing in that niche to use. This is the KEY chose to just do big tits and your site will be recieving a truck load of fail for not getting specific visitors
