XML gallery display question... HELP.....

I posted this in the webmaster Q&A forum and have yet to get any reply so Im trying here.....

Can anyone who knows XML help?. Im going crazy trying to make something work....

I have a main stream site that has photo galleries on it. The photo gallery was made flash. Its using an XML file to index the pics. Fine so far. Here is my problem. I have a folder of panoramic pictures. Naturally, the pictures will not fit in the gallery display window because of the width restrictions of the flash file.

Here is my question. Is it possible for someone to click on the thumbnail pic, and it opens a pop up window with the full size panorama pic?. Something like 'target=_blank".

Here is a line from the XML file.

<gallery id="31" name="Vermont" path="gallery/31/">
<id type="img" value="21"/>
<image id="1" thumbnail="1s.jpg" pic="1.jpg" name="Marshfield Barn" description="" def="0"/>
</gallery>

So, how can we do this or can we?.

HELP....

Im going crazy.....lol
