We have it good in adult I think

In regards to affiliate programs. I never push anything mainstream but I have a few good domains names and decided to play around with CJ.com (commission junction) to see if I would make more instead of having them parked.

First of all:

1) The stats are the worst thing I have ever seen.
2) You go to signup for an advertiser and you get denied for not having a history with THAT advertiser. Hmm how do I get a history without being allowed to signup?
3) Here are 3 emails I got over the span of 5 days.

First email = Thanks for joining XXXX advertisers, here is how you promote us
Second email (2 days later) = We are no longer accepting affiliate traffic, please remove links
Third Email (next day) = we have decided to begin accepting affiliate traffic, please add links

The banners and promo material are straight from 1998. I think I will stick to the domain parking programs ;)

No wonder these mainstream boards make the gfy drama queens look like nice kids.

There are some really good mainstream boards that are not full of retards. And some people actually know what the fuck they are doing too.

If you think CJ.com sucks now, it was way worse back in 2000-2001.

CJ sucks and always has. As mentioned they were pretty bad back in 2000-2001. They did have easy money makers like office.com($5/email) back then though, and those xdrive type sites.

Go with a CPA network. Making money with them is like taking candy from a baby; you'll think its 1999 again.

CJ is years behind the competition. But generally you are right, mainstream affiliate programs have a really bad attitude like we should beg to use their affiliate program. I once had a CPA program interview me for about 30 minutes on the phone as to why i should send them traffic. Biggest crap of shit I ever heard of but its the norm...

A lot of these mainstream programs seem to have this attitude. Its almost like their doing me a favor by letting me send them traffic.

I've been turned down twice now for an account with Leadpoint; its their loss.

Get used to it. It is a different game. I call every network I apply to and talk to them whether they want me to or not. Most of them appreciate it, as most CPA networks deny you immediately and wait for your call anyways. I've only been turned back from one network out of maybe 40 or so I'm on right now after making my initial call. At first I was disappointed with the approval process you have to go through with most CPA networks, but I've come to accept it as part of the deal. I've got my phone interview shmoozing down to an art now. It's a good opportunity to drop questions of your own regarding the network, and to show the network that you aren't completely braindead too. They like to know that they aren't just letting anyone in.

I will take you up on your sig offer. I would really like to know what is half decent. I havent done my research and really just wanted to test something out. I get about 6500 typeins a day on a few domains, this is very targetted traffic and I know with the domain companies, I am really just playing

me--> middle man ---> middle man ---> ad network

If your mainstream domains have decent traffic let me take over advertising and ill give you 50% of the income. I bet I can make 500%+ more your parking program does

Or let me buy the traffic

aim - willraim

What niche are you looking at, what type of offers? If you'd rather not say here, hit me up on ICQ and I'll throw you some suggestions that might interest you.
