Ways to speed up Microsoft Outlook?

Getting kind of sluggish. What can I do to speed it up?

LOL I knew you guys were going to say that. I don't like Thunderbird actually, and I did not find it to be all that "light."

I like Outlook. I'm keeping it. It's just been slower lately.

stay with Office/Outlook 2003 sp3, and just add the compatibility addon, so you can work with the same docs as the new versions of Office

Make sure you have disabeled indexing services on the drive

Run multiple PST files. One for archive and one for inbox. You just colapse the archive when you dont need them. That way it dont slow your outlook down. Dont use the archive function, just arrange it manually, so your inbox is like your desktop, unly with the things you need to work on. Everything else you move to the Archive manually
