Facebook , twitter etc are providing their on APIs which we can integrate to our website by creating their application. Many cms like drupal does provide the modules for FBConnect and all. We can import contacts from social networks using this.

That is sweet. Nice of Google to allow people to put up their urls in profiles (openID). Besides direct traffic are there SEO benefits? Can people build anchor text into these? No "no follow" tag?

I tried out the Facebook Connect and it worked fine for awhile then for some reason I started getiing this error on one of my blogs
