Significant Drop in Bounce Rate on Google Analytics between July 1st and 10th

Anyone else seeing this?

Looking at a few of my blogs, and each one of them had about a 25% decrease in bounce rate between July 1st and 10th. Normally they are very steady, then between these dates they dropped, stayed steady then went back to normal on the 10th.

Been looking at what we might've done differently, so that we could keep doing it. We'd made a couple of informative posts during that time which I'm sure my reads liked, but they weren't all made on the 1st. We made them like on the june 29th, july 3rd, july 7th.

anyone else seeing something like this? Thinking maybe it's some kind of bug or something?

anyway - thanks in advance

It's more likely a change in the way Analytics measures these things. I remember a year or two ago the time spent on site stats changing significantly overnight. They had made a note about it, though.

definately a possibility. Not sure why it would go back to exactly what it was stable at for months after that 10 day period though. perhaps a test or something?

On my main blog, mine are down about 10% on average this month and I have done nothing differently.

I am going to go with what someone else had said...they are probably measuring differently or something.
