Yea, sucks.
One can at least use various "upgrade your browser" alerts:

But yea. Sucks.

Meanwhile, they never have and never will support Groove, one of their newer products, on Vista 64-bit. Lovely.

I use this or something similar on some sites: http://www.twinhelix.com/css/iepngfix/

Agreed, doesn't make it impossible to do anything but sometimes requires extra styling. Though as above you can get around the transparency issues.

I think they mean out of the total people that use IE 15 - 20% still use IE6.

For my biggest site it's 17.60% IE6 (out of all people that use IE)

1. 7.0 534,109 45.08%
2. 8.0 441,119 37.23%
3. 6.0 208,526 17.60%

But only 60% of the total visitors uses IE

1. Internet Explorer 1,184,841 60.49%
2. Firefox 555,915 28.38%
3. Safari 93,093 4.75%
