This August, AFF ran its ?double yo money? promotion for GetItOn, their new adult dating site. I?d already been promoting the site for a little while with excellent results so I went balls to the wall and ramped it up for August as much as I could. The result was that I did $143,869 in sales for August, which with the bonus made me $287,720 in total.

Sagi wanted to give me a giant novelty check at Webmaster Access Amsterdam, but I can't make it, plus I?m a little on the camera-shy side, on account of my facial leprosy and Lymphatic Filariasis. I did want to give something back to the people who fund my hedonistic lifestyle, though, so I thought I?d post on here and let the (adult webmaster) world know about the opportunity.

Why does GIO own? Fresh database! It's like the golden days of AFF when everybody hadn't already signed up! It?s a simple equation, to my mind. Clean database + clean site + AFF's conversion skills = $$$$$$$$$$. Who'd think banner, gallery spots, whatever could still make so much.

Anyway, don?t take my word for it if you don?t want to. Honestly I?d almost prefer you all didn?t believe me and thought I was just making up the stats or whatever, because I don?t need the competition. But I?m telling you: GetItOn is a GOLDMINE.

Though the double payout period is over now, AFF are doing a 100% revshare for GIO this month. I?m almost tempted to switch my links over from per-order to take advantage. I still might. Though, you know. Swapping out links--might take me five minutes. Who?s got that kinda crazy time? Meh. *decisions*

Anyway. Because I know it?s what you people are all about, I?m going to post some pictures of the awesome shit I?m going to buy with my bonus in this thread. Look ye not-that-mighty-really upon my frenzied consumer orgy and despair.

I really don't think they do, but honestly, even if they did I wouldn't care. For me it's money in versus money out. AFF turn my "money in" into a bigger pile of "money out" than anyone else I've tried, by a LOT, and that's all I care about.

Or perhaps you meant something else?

I've tried cams with them and with LJ. Was doing okay with it, but have done a lot better with AFF and now GIO. I dunno, maybe it was my fault. What do you think the most important thing with promoting cams is?

Well, I've definitely heard of people being switched from PPC to PPS (not from PPS to CPM... though who knows? Sagi could probably field that one) but yeah. The thing is: don't sent them complete shit?

I know you're saying it's traffic that owns elsewhere, and I guess not all traffic is created equal, but I've never had it happen that I've found my traffic does better anywhere else, and I've been through a crapload of sponsors (and a crapload of traffic sources). My advice would be that if you can find a better deal, take it. I've been in this business a long time now and I haven't found one. And all the adult affiliate guys I know who are really ballin' are doing it on the back of AFF.

We have very aggressive payouts. The simple fact is that not everyone's traffic can perform well enough to warrant those payouts. We try to be very flexible and will wait probably longer than we should in most cases to see if more orders will come in. When it's clear that the type of traffic or the country of origin isn't performing to the matrix that our payouts were set to, we do convert. No sponsor is willing to lose money.

If you get converted to percentage this isn't a death sentence. As a matter of fact the vast majority of our largest affiliates are on the percentage program and are quite happy. Even still if you have been converted and are upset about it I invite you to either contact me or another affiliate rep to see about negotiating a lower per click payout or per order payout that would allow you to stay on your preferred payout program. We'll do everything we reasonably can to keep you happy.

If it was all bought traffic he only needed to buy around $33,000 if he was paying 5 cents a click and avg 22,000 a day for 30 days.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering that myself. I uploaded it to photobucket as a full-size image--I guess they automagically resized it like the gigantic fags they are.

I'd recommend maybe splitting your traffic 50/50 for a month between the two so you can see how much better GIO performs on your traffic than w/LC. I'm confident it will. The fresh db makes a HUGE difference.
