Live Cams experts - will this chargeback?
I know you're not psychic so I guess my real question is "how usual is this?"
This was my first ever live cams sale. He signed up as a free customer, getting the $11.99 free time with the models. The next day he spends $120 in one night. My fear is that he might sober up or cum and then chargeback. I am pretty new at live cams, so is that a usual sales pattern in this type of revenue stream?

honestly that is not a huge purchase. i would speculate that you are safe and at worst he may feel bad about it when he gets the bill. also would matter on if the cam site does their own processing and how much they fight chargebacks.
i do not see it as activity on a stolen card either. when i get a new sign up that spends as soon as possible, then racks up hundreds if not thousands in the next couple days worry me. then i get worried it is someone with a stolen card. |

I wouldn't worry about it (too much)
I chose a random day in my stats and the average spend (total gross sales divided by the count of sessions) is $20.68. Seems a lot lower than your figure, but some sessions spend $2.02, some spend $69.50... in addition this cam sponsor doesn't link sessions to members, there's a few spots where there are sequential sessions with a total value of $200+ which are probably the same person. So long as you're doing a reasonable level of sales and it didn't take you 3 months to generate this $120 gross you should be fine... chargebacks are a normal part of this business, unfortunately, but your other sales should more than make up for the occasional deduction. |
