Gays want equal rights, but the government cannot give them something GOD has not given them. Equal rights the same as a union between a man and a woman. Gays are entitled to human rights the same as any other man, woman and child.

Being gay is not the same as being an Afro-American or an Hispanic, etc. Gay marriage is not the same as civil rights or a civil right issue.

GOD has spoken on the issue and we cannot go beyond what he has written, add to his word or take away. Time may change but GOD is the same today as yesterday. He and his word do not change. Gay marriages are not an issues of freedom or discrimination.

You have to realize their motive for saying that birth control pills in the water supply are causing gays.

Science has not yet found a biological explanation for them and some suggest that the cause is pyschological rather then biological. The rejections are of the preverse sexuallity of Gays which is not logical in Natural Law. Sex is supposed to bring pleasure to both participants and such is not the case with Gay sex. Lesbians have to use artificial means which therefore makes it an artificial act. Males use the "garbage chute" of the body which has no sense of pleasure so only one of the participants is getting any "pleasure". That tells me that what was responsible for the outcomes in the earlier findings was NOT PRAYER, but the reduced stress likely brought about by a subject BELIEVING they were being prayed for. This explains what is behind the idea that 'religion is good for sick people'.

Present these findings to the loons on the right and you will get replies like 'I don't care what you say; I KNOW prayer has worked for me.' There is no fucking convincing them. I guess it is true when they say YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH STUPID.

On the documentary 'Religulous', Bill Maher interviewed one wing-nut who tried to argue that he knows his god exists because one night at a party he prayed that it would stop raining it did. But I disagree that opposition to homosexual marriage is irrational. Cultural traditions and identities are an important part of the human instinct. There is nothing particularly irrational about them. Furthermore there are plenty of rational reasons for opposition to gay marriage.

Western cultural traditions also frown upon polygamy and incest. Laws against polygamy and incest also infringe on people's ability to have a relationship with whom they choose. There are legitimate arguments on both sides of the issue.

I am not a big fan of gay sex. In fact, it repulses me to the core. I could never promote gay sites because I can't stand the content, but that does not translate into a belief that what they do is wrong. It's just not for me.

The point is that consenting adults should be able to do whatever the fuck they want to do in their private lives without interference from the outside world, especially when what they do doesn't affect the outside world. Illegal stuff like bestiality and pedophilia should be interfered with, because it involves the abuse of those who are unable to consent (children and animals). Polygamy is a blatant abuse of women, many of which are underage (Most of those who practice this in the USA are bible thumpers - i.e., mormons). Incest often involves this kind of abuse, but if it weren't for incest, some of these redneck bible thumpers wouldn't get any sex at all.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I have known some die hards before but they have never put it that way. First of all it doesn't make sense. If you can't understand anything without the holy spirit and you can not receive the holy spirit without being saved/baptized then you wouldn't be able to know you needed saved.

I am not against their bible. I probably know it better than most church goers. There has also been a huge change in christian/religious perspective on the bible over the last few decades. Many theologians and worshipers alike do not believe the bible is all fact but rather a guide with a large part being written symbolically.

I have studied religion in connection with history and the bible gets it right more than it gets it wrong. Outside of parable anyways. What are the errors? What is EVERYTHING?
