				 | moving to a new computer = sucks! Finally got around to setting up my new PC. installed windows 7, added second video card, hard drives, bluray drive, etc. turn it on and its a fresh machine... did a bit of "cleanup" on files and started to move them over (old PC had 2 120gb drives and external eSata) and putting everything on this PC that I need. the problem is trying to get software that I bought to move over. a company that I did work for years ago bought me a copy of Photoshop and Dreamweaver. yeah, they are a bit outdated, but still do exactly what I need. moving the files over doesn't cut it, they are looking for registry files that I dont have. I'm sure I could try and figure it out, but seems to be a headache to do. im not really interested in spending $500+ for new software and im not one to use serial keygens/jacked software. I tried emailing their support but don't seem to be of any help... any suggestions?

				 | How come you don't have the original installation disks? Those are kind of important. |

				 | When I bought photoshop, I never got disks. I bought it from adobe.com and it was a download. It's good to know that when I move to a new computer, I'll be able to transfer it. Better be anyway, heh. Was expensive buying it that way.

				 | You should eligible to purchase @ upgrade price for CS4 then, I believe it's only $199 instead of $699.

				 | Just changed my PC too. In my case it was Windows 7 on 64, I found relatively little software for it but I have PS7 as well as CS4 installed and they both work fine. You should have 2 versions of Program Files in your c: or wherever. One with a number (#) behind it and the normal one. Look around for your Macromedia/Dreamweaver and try opening it directly from there or "run as admin" to see if it works...If it doesn't try installing them again and not just copying them from your older hdd
