My partner and I need information on how we go about getting pernission to shoot adult internet content in rented studio or office space. Is there a specific permit that we need to obtain before we begin the business? Our location is near L.A., California. Any information would be helpful.

Don't try your local zoning office they may lie to you there ...

BTW my zoning office permits me to have 15 people in my house for shoots at a time it's called an occupancy license. 15 bucks a year and 2 inspections and free vidoes to the inspectors is what it cost me.

You actually have to have a "permit" to have some folks in your place??

Assuming it ain't the cast of the Titanic and they ain't in danger cos of "overcrowding" - what's the permit for? :-) Excuse my ignorance.. I ain't in the US.

Mmm.. if anyone came to my door, whether it is the police, Elvis or the President, and said I'd need a permit, reckon that is time for "Go Fuck Yourself!" *g*

Would you have to own the house to shot the content ? Or can you just be renting the house out.
