Spider for a forum?
Anyone know of a spider program that will download all attachment files from a forum? If not is there one that I can give a list of url's to and set it to save all of them?
Example www.myforums.com/attachement.php?id=1001 www.myforums.com/attachement.php?id=1002 www.myforums.com/attachement.php?id=1003 www.myforums.com/attachement.php?id=1004 etc. Will save all the attachments whether they are videos, images, or what not. |

Got it working, however, I need to be logged into the forum in order to view attachments. I tried logging in first with fire fox but it spiders the login required page with httrack. Do you know how I can login or use the cookie from the firefox session?

i googled it and played around with the settings for 2 hours now. it creates the login page and runs it but it doesnt log in. the forum i am trying to spider is vbullitin. I followed the instructions here : http://www.ehow.com/how_4864393_conf...rotection.html
