Yes, subscribe to MaxMind, have your host install it for you (or install it yourself) and do it by .htaccess.

You'll probably need a dedicated server or VPS if your host doesn't already have it set up since it's an Apache module. Keep in mind that the serer load will go up. Other than that, Maxmind is great.

How accurate does it need to be? GeoIP isn't always that accurate.
