HTML Editor Question

So what do people like to use the most, old school FrontPage, or Dream Weaver? I know some will say Baaa, "I code it all myself" well thats great for you all. I'm interrested to compare these 2 wysiwyg type of editors.

Thanks In Advance.

Go with DW, their code is much more clean as from FP.

Dreamweaver, but mines about 6 years old no idea what the latest version is like. Frontpage seems to generate a huge amount of shit both in the code and extra files on the server.

Exactly, Frontpage include so much extra code while Dream Weaver is much cleaner. I don't even see the point in Frontpage unless you are an extreme Microsoft supporter. DW is easy and you will catch on fast. It will for example color each full html tag in one color and the next tag in a different color. So when building tables or anything else you are able to follow along quite easily.

Threads like this explain why there is very little to no innovation in adult web anymore.

I've been using dreamweaver for years already and I won't go back to front page anytime soon. The thing works perfectly, why change?

Windows notepad. I tried using a few different purpose built html/css editors, but hated them all. I like that with nodepad, there isn't 500 menus, different colours, and 50 shortcut keys. What your type is what you get :D

Dreamweaver is the standard, it does not suck. But yes I bought Flux about a month ago and its pretty sweet.

Old school! Didn't they discontinue cute html a few years ago? I actually used to use that back in the day. Ever tried coffee cup html editor? It's very similar if you need/want something that is still updated.

Textpad. Not wysiwyg, but can be configured to your very needs and allows macros.
