I am not Swiss, nor live there, but I've spend enough time in Geneva to know a few things.
Cost of living is high, now higher than Zurich, top 5 in the world. Finding a place to live is a bitch, shortage of empty apartment you have to apply for places you like....not as advantageous for tax purposes as you would think either. For the rest, if you are the family type you'll like how safe it is, if you are the sporty type you'll like all the activities you can do in the alps, but if you are the party type you'll hate how small GVA actually is  |
